Health & Justice
Run in partnership with Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF), this one-year training track facilitates CMF members’ exploration of the health and justice interface.
We want to help you:-
learn about biblical justice;
love vulnerable patient groups;
explore careers with them;
champion them in your church, workplace and CMF.
Basics
Inspiration
We take inspiration from Proverbs 31:8-9:-
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.
Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.
Aim
We aim to equip and empower you to live out Proverbs 31:8-9 both personally and professionally in the service of vulnerable patient groups.
GoalS
Our goals are to spend a year with you & other CMF members in a supervised training track:-
Educational:-
increasing your knowledge and understanding of biblical justice;
increasing your knowledge of holistic healthcare for vulnerable patient groups;
Vocational:-
exploring career options for providing holistic care to vulnerable patient groups;
championing vulnerable patient groups in your church, workplace and CMF.

Six mid-month Tuesday evening webinars
One small project to champion the health & justice arena within your church, workplace or CMF
One self-arranged placement
(although certain in-house placements will be available within Integritas +/- CMF)
One reflective presentation on how this track may influence your career
Virtual educational supervision with an expert in your vulnerable patient group of choice

CostS
Fees: the track is very competitively priced:-
Healthcare students & unwaged members £300
Non-doctors & FY1 doctors £400
FY2s-FY4 doctors £525
More senior doctors £630
We also have four full bursary places for suitable students or qualified healthcare professionals residing outside of the United Kingdom.
These costs are very competitive. If your financial situation is tricky though, please don’t let our fees put you off applying. We accept monthly instalments and, if you may need further help, contact us in confidence for fundraising advice and/or consideration of a discretionary discount.
Expenses:
In addition to the track fee, you will need to cover your own travel and accommodation costs - in the event of the weekend conferences being hybrid events and you deciding to participate in person.
Pandemic
The ongoing nature and resource implications of the COVID-19 Pandemic mean that all of the above dates may be subject to change. Although some or all of the quarterly weekend conferences would ideally be hybrid in nature (that is, with the option of in-person attendance), it is not possible at this stage to predict whether they will need to be entirely virtual.
